Sick Policy/Procedures

We care about you—and we also care about keeping our space healthy for everyone. If you’re not feeling well, we kindly ask that you switch your session to telehealth or cancel the scheduled appointment.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness—including fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, vomiting, or any contagious condition—we ask that you do not attend in-person sessions. We are more than happy to provide you with a telehealth option for the session if you or your child are feeling well enough.
Thank you for helping us keep the space cozy, safe, and comfortable for everyone. If you’re unsure what to do, just reach out—we’re happy to help you figure it out.

Winter Weather Policy

Your safety is our top priority. During the winter months, weather conditions can change quickly, and we want to ensure everyone stays safe while still getting the support they need.

If hazardous weather affects our ability to meet in person, we will notify you by email if your therapist decides to close or switch to telehealth for the day. We encourage you to reach out directly to your therapist if you are unsure about your appointment or road conditions in your area.​​

Each therapist will make their own decision about holding in-person sessions based on their own travel, road conditions, weather forecasts, safety concerns and the needs of their clients. ​

If your therapist chooses not to hold in-person sessions, they may be able to offer a telehealth session or the chance to reschedule, depending on your preference and availability.
