We want to provide you with information and communication regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) (updated November 2020). Given the recent uptick in COVID infection rates, we are strongly encouraging our clients to move to a telehealth platform, when it is clinically appropriate.  We appreciate your patience as we continue to navigate these difficult times.   For those clients that are in need of in-person sessions, we are currently taking the following precautions to protect our patients and help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

  • You will be asked to complete an updated consent form prior to your appointment that can be found on our client portal.

  • We will not be utilizing our waiting room and ask that you wait in your car until the start of your appointment. You can proceed in to the office at the time of your appointment where your therapist will greet you and escort you to the therapy room.

  • Seating in our therapy rooms has been arranged for appropriate physical distancing.

  • We will take your temperature at the start of the session. If your temperature is higher than 100 degrees Fahrenheit, you will be asked to leave the office and resume telehealth sessions.

  • You will be asked to complete a COVID -19 questionnaire. If any questions are endorsed, we will ask that your session be conducted via telehealth.

  • We ask that if you are traveling outside of the state or participating in large family gatherings (20+), we ask that you utilize our telehealth services.

  • We ask that if you or anyone in your family is experiencing symptoms, please use the telehealth option for your session(s) for the recommended quarantine time frame, as proposed by the Department of Health.

  • Our staff and clients will wear masks. If you or your child is unable to wear a mask for the entire length of the session, telehealth sessions are required.

  • Our staff will maintain safe distancing.

  • Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands.

  • Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the therapy rooms and the waiting room.

  • We are scheduling appointments at specific intervals to minimize the number of people in the waiting room.

  • Credit card pads, pens and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.

  • Physical contact is not permitted.

  • Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.

  • Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.

  • Many of the items in our offices (art supplies, games, pillows, etc.) will be kept to a minimum and sanitized after each use.

Please reach out to us with any concerns or questions you or your children may have. Our goal is to maintain everyone's safety the best we are able. We appreciate your continued cooperation as we navigate these difficult times. Our staff is here to assist you and your child each step of the way.
